It excels in purifying single-stranded or double-stranded DNA/RNA amidst diverse matrices like salts, solvents, enzymes, and proteins. The high salt concentration facilitates the binding of nucleic acids to the glass fiber, while the cleaning process efficiently removes salts and impurities. Ultimate purity is achieved as DNA/RNA is eluted from the membranes using water or TE buffer.
